The Position:
As an Event Manager, at the Crane Estate and the Estate at Moraine Farm, you will be responsible for organizing and executing a wide range of catering events, from corporate gatherings to weddings and other social eventsThe Event Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the event are executed seamlessly and guests receive excellent service and hospitalityThe ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skillsOur team loves the part-time flexible schedule! Responsibilities:
Direct staff upon arrival, through event set up, execution and breakdown ensuring that all standards and policies are being upheldGreet all clients and vendors and coordinate the day's events in accordance with the pre-designed planSetting up client provisions in accordance with the clients wishes and rules of the venueCommunicate with kitchen and client on timing of event and all food service ensuring hot food is served in a timely mannerOversee bar service and alcohol consumption of guestsUphold the standards of each venue ensuring proper care and communicate any maintenance needsComplete all end of event reportingRequirements:
Exude a high level of hospitality to our guests - smile and have fun!Experienced in event planning and management, with a focus on catering preferredExcellent organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and staff membersAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitudeFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as neededAbility to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and busy event environmentHere is a snapshot of our amazing benefits!
