Job Description The successful Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent written and oral communication skills.
This individual will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet critical deadlines and develop processes to improve efficiency, while maintaining strong relationships with our vendors and customer base.
Job Responsibilities Accounts payable functions, including but not limited to, vendor maintenance, matching invoices to purchase orders, coding invoices to correct G/L accounts using vouchers and payment processing.
Accounts receivable functions, including but not limited to, account set-up and maintenance, applying payments, bank deposits, and general account research.
Assist in month-end and year-end closings.
Assist in providing tax filing information to our CPA Firm.
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, some familiarity with ERP systems a plus.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated with effective time management skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to analyze tasks and assess situations to determine appropriate course of action.
Respect and maintain confidentiality, professional protocols and individual privacy.
